The Latest Can Really be the Greatest!
The latest isn't always the greatest, but when it comes to tablets, this holds true! The tablet is a a wonderful middle ground between a smartphone and a laptop. It has even better portability than a laptop, and gives greater ease of viewing and using than a smartphone. This video on the Samsung Galaxy Tab, for example, shows the portability and versatility of a tablet. Capturing and then using images without having to download is a really convenient feature. Whether stills or video, and whether sending them over the internet or showing them on the good-sized screen, the images you capture are all right there, ready to go. Same goes for your writing of course. Though I love pen and paper, and also actual books, the possibilities that tablets open up are truly remarkable. Of course, you can also use it for your music library.

For example, with connectivity, instantly being able to share your notes, or sending files as backup copies, gives a sense of immediate usability and security that a paper notebook cannot give. Same with photos and videos; important ones can be instantly shared, or archived or copies sent to ensure not losing them. For example, I went to see an older relative, and was able to take some wonderful photos and videos of her, include of her sharing about some family history, and then also wrote down some of my favorite things that she said, and then share it with other family members. I also had her talk with my some other family members via Skype. That's some priceless family togetherness, made possible by the latest-and I'd say greatest!-in personal telecom technology!
